The noise
People's words
Industrial chimes
Girders fall
Sounding like Tibetan gongs
To bring me back
From some transcendental state
Transcend
The dust, scratches
Imperfect
Vinyl
Radio static
Drone
Listening to the heartbeat
Walking pace
Anticipation
Open my eyes
Ears
Close
Other senses
and I forget to breathe
Trying to tune in
To the healing frequencies
And turn off the angry
scratchy voices
Stop
I can't hear you anyway
