UENO RAIN (ENJUKU) DVD

My last night in Tokyo. The sound of percussion from the rain water on crushed up Kirin cans and this
beautiful green light in Ueno. I had to enjoy the moment. I felt happy in the rain shooting and recording this.
This piece presented itself to me walking at night in the rain in Tokyo.

MANIC CHINATOWN BICYCLE DVD

MANIC CHINATOWN BICYCLE was shot on my bicycle handlebars. I was riding my bike from
Chinatown to 23rd street. I felt very manic that day as I often do in New York City.

Created at Experimental Television Center 2.12-2.17-08 with the Wobulator and the Dave Jones colorizer. Assisted by Hank Rudolph.
The soundtrack constists of ambient sound by ( ) mixed with live environmental sound from the river and other enviromental and industrial
sounds via microphone out the window. The sound is affecting the movement of the image. The sound is running through the mixer with a
+/- oscillator and is being modulated through a Korg analog synth. The volume of the sound is controlling parameters on the Wobulator through
the Dave Jones colorizer. A live shot of the Susquehanna River with floating ice floes is mixed with the Wobulator processed version of the same image.

Soundtrack constists of ambient sound by ( ) and a song from a pachinko parlor in the Ueno neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan. The sound is affecting
the movement of the image. The sound is running through the mixer with a +/- oscillator and is being modulated through a Korg analog synth.
The volume of the sound is controlling parameters on the Wobulator through the Dave Jones colorizer. There are 2 layers of image being mixed
here and 3 sound sources.

WILLIAMSBURG<>D.U.M.B.O.

WILLIAMSBURG < > D.U.M.B.O was shot on a rainy night in Brooklyn through the window of a car service en route
from the neighborhood of D.U.M.B.O. (Down Under the Manhattan Brooklyn Overpass) to Williamsburg and around the
neighborhood of Williamsburg. The video is the result of mixing several layers of the source video and sound with addtional music.

AMB_1 (EV BLUR) is the first in this series of ambient video works. Processed imagery of a street scene in
New York's East Village and ambient street noise are mixed with manipulated electronics by North Guinea Hills.

FLIKERESQ

Using available light from a candle and nocturnal light of the street, I created abstractions of lightness and darkness.
The flicker of light from candles and night lights are composed to create this composition of sound and light. The image was
digitally processed to add color and the sound was remixed with analog effects and distortion with the original guitar.
